The only voices that deserve to be heard above the noise of missiles are those clamouring for peace, between Israel and the Palestinians; among Jews; and in our own selves
I have found that one of the only ways to speak rationally about the conflict is to dig deep into the archives and find sincere thought about the Middle East conflict not infected with emotions running so high. This article clearly sums up to me the formal problem with the ideological pro-Israel opinion. Like all ideology, it is unfalsifiable – no matter what new evidence comes to light, it cannot change the basic convictions of its adherents. Epistemologically, nothing troubles me more than such belief systems.
